With over 20 years experience in live performances, Brash Asset have accumulated quality equipment, a large and diverse song repertoire, and the ability to
draw a crowd.
Brash Asset play a variety of hit pop/rock songs selected mainly from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s while crossing back to the 60’s periodically.
Brash Asset are a mixed gender act whom have perfected the art of mixing live instruments and vocals with
professional backing tracks resulting in a full and energetic sound at any volume for any occasion.

Brett Dwight (Guitars and Vocals): Brett has been performing professionally since 1989. After attaining his Diploma in Contemporary Music, Brett was awarded a Scholarship to the Australian International Conservatorium of Music. Brett has passed on his skills having tutored guitar and musicianship to students of all ages for over ten years. Brett has played with numerous bands which include Manx Katz Trio, Lost Souls, and Jake and the Fat Men of which one of the highlights was playing the 2001 Bathurst 1000 at Mount Panorama in Bathurst NSW. Brett’s playing put simply makes you want
to play ‘air guitar’ motivating even the most staunch none dancer to get up and have fun!
Ashka Taylor (Vocals and Percussion): Ashka started at the young age of seven, when her father first enrolled her in singing lessons. Entering various singing and performance competitions, Ashka took out first place in the Sydney City Eisteddfod for
Best Contemporary Vocal Performance in 1989. Since then, Ashka has instructed students and has played in various bands including the award winning Crimson Phoenix! Ashka has a truly ear pleasing voice while having a natural performance
ability!
