With Ho Ho time rapidly approaching the Central Coast moves into high Christmas gear with Christmas Carols and events on the calendar from the North to the South.
Although there will be many events here is a quick list so far of the ones we have been informed of...
I will post more Christmas goodies and carols nights as they come to hand.

MESSAGE:
The UMINA Carols were a non event - my apologies to all who attended. I do not know why and how. I heard nothing of it not being on and I did have the information last month.
Perhaps checking with the organisers or venue, prior to attending an event to avoid sad disappointment. The larger ones, if cancelled ought to be advertised/advised on local radio.
If I am notified of changes/cancellations I will pop it online as soon as I know.
This weather may affect more as time goes on.

APEX CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT:
Saturday 24th December 2011 @ 7pm-9pm 51st APEX Carols By Candlelight The Gosford City Brass Band will once again be celebrating Christmas Eve at Kibble Park for the 51st time, proudly presented by the APEX club of Gosford.

Scallywagz Christmas Show presents an action packed performance filled with musical excitement and laughter.
Sing and dance along to lively Scallywagz songs and popular children’s nursery rhymes.

COMMUNITY CAROLS AT WYOMING:
Wyoming Church of Christ will be hosting their annual community Christmas carols on Sunday, the 18th of December.
The family fun carnival, featuring prizes, games, face painting, jumping castles and much more, will kick off at 5.30pm. The open-air carols will then begin at 7.30pm. Bring along a chair or rug - with hot food, drinks and glo-sticks available to purchase throughout the evening.
It's FREE ENTRY for the entire family!
It's at 299 Henry Parry Drive, near the maccas in Wyoming.

Hosted by Sea Fm's Paddy, Ciel & Dan, Mingara's Christmas Under the Stars promises to entertain.
There will also be amusement rides, food stalls and Mingara's famous fireworks display.

If you only attend one Carols by Candlelight event this Christmas, don't miss Wyong's ever-popular festive celebration.
Between 5.30pm and 9pm on Sunday, December 18, Wyong Town Park - opposite the village Central shopping centre - will be lit by flickering candles and will echo to the sound of Christmas Carols.
Partly sponsored by Council and organised by Wyong Regional Chamber of Commerce, the free event will get the entire family into the Christmas spirit. Bring a blanket, chair and a picnic basket.
The local Rotary club will have a sausage sizzle available and a visit from Santa is expected. |

Lenrie's Christmas Lights at 59 Elsiemer Street, Long Jetty.
Consisting wholly of super bright, energy efficient LEDs, and only hand created designs.
Operating from 8pm to 1am each night, December 1st to January 8th.
We will be collecting donations for Give Me 5 For Kids this season, donations can be made any night. Also we will be running a special photography session each Friday leading up to Christmas, from 8-9pm.
For a donation of $5, or more, we will take a slow exposure photo of you and your family in our display.
No more flash photography or shaky hands ruining your Christmas Light photos!!!
The photo will then be uploaded, with your permission, onto our facebook page for you to tag yourselves.
And if you provide an email address for us, we will email you an original high resolution copy as well.*
*If you'd like a hard copy please let us know and we can send one to you for an additional $2 for a 6x4 print, including postage and handling.
All donations be going to 'Give Me 5 For Kids', helping to fund essential medical equipment and services at our local Gosford and Wyong Hospitals. Central Coast children and their families will benefit greatly from your compassion.

There are usually signs around the Coast for the sale of live trees before Christmas. Hopefully we will have notice of some for sale near you.
