 DEAR MONDAY:
Brother and sister act Tess Green and Micah Dick, are two young musicians and locals to the Central Coast of New South Wales Australia, residing in Avoca Beach.
Dear Monday performs originals and all your favorite covers from the 50's until now.
Dear Monday is available for hire for weddings, parties and all other functions.
An experienced duo, Dear Monday performs regularly at live music venues on the Central Coast such as Lizottes, Fubah on Copa, Siroccos, The Empire Bay Tavern, Avoca Beach Bowling Club, Shelly Beach Golf Club and Lanxaneta.
They have also played at many corporate and private functions.
Dear Monday is;
Tess Green-Vocals, Keyboard
As a jazz vocalist, Tess has been studying vocal performance at the Central Coast Conservatorium for the past 6 years. She recently completed a Diploma of Music majoring in Vocal Performance and hopes to complete a Bachelor of music after finishing year 12 at Sydney Conservatorium. She is also currently studying vocal performance with Gina Jefferies.
Tess has been studying classical piano for the past 5 years and is currently in 6th year of her certificate in piano with the St Cecilia school of music.
She is influenced mostly by early jazz and blues musicians and vocalists such as Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald and writes original compositions.
Tess is available for music lessons in- preliminary and intermediate, vocal performance, piano and music theory.
Micah Dick-Guitar
A highly talented guitarist, Micah has been learning the guitar from the age of 5 years, but also plays the banjo, mandolin, drums, and occasionally the didgeridoo.
Before the formation of Dear Monday, he was the rhythm guitarist of Central Coast band Random Ryde.
Micah is a keen composer, always writing originals and instrumental pieces for the guitar.
Micah is influenced by a wide variety of styles and bands, such as The Eagles, Pink Floyd, and Keith Urban.
Both Micah and Tess are 17 years old.
