NICK RYAN:

Originally a Hobart lad, Nick Ryan crossed the strait, escaped the cool weather of Tasmania and became a Central Coast lad around seven years ago.

As with most writers, Nick discovered his natural talent as a songwriter circa 2002, via life experiences and the ways and means we deal with them - natural therapy? For sure!

Although Nick's emotive and poignant words come from the heart, they will always still remain words close to his heart. Each word is more than just a string of letters, they are strings of life's experiences, learning, healing and loving.

Nick is one of those lucky enough to be able to put those experiences, blended with music, out there in the public arena or in a private sanctuary, in the form of his singing and songwriting talent.

Not oblivious to the fickle and sometimes farcical nature of the Australian music industry Nick is quite content to continue to write and play his way, his words and his feelings.

Music is to Nick, as it is to those who listen, an escape, therapy and a cure for all ills.
More importantly in Nick's own words - "anyway if i dont get out and play I go nuts (more nuts than usual that is)".
