Ray Beadle, (another blues Mr Nice Guy) stood in for the hospitalised James T on Sunday at The Terrigal Memorial Country Club for the 'On the Road Once More Tour' with the Darren Jack Band.

Ray is a very emotive blues guitarist and singer who is always a pleasure to see. This gig was no exception. Such is Ray's presence and ability to entertain you could have heard a pin drop while he was performing his acoustic set.

The small intimate audience were rapt in his every word and strum. My favourite song for the evening was 'My Fathers House', Ray's rendition held so much feeling as to be almost mesmerising.

The numbers were down on what one would have expected for a performer of Ray's caliber but the upside to that was the feeling of having a private audience with this young gentle and extremely talented man of Blues.

There is little wonder why Ray Beadle is considered one of Australia's finest blues performers.
