Serena Vickers - Singer - Songwriter
Serena Vickers is a singer/songwriter living on the Central Coast of NSW.

Her first interest in music was sparked at age 15 when her boyfriend at that time was playing in a band.
With Serena's mum being classically trained in guitar there was a golden opportunity on a silver platter to learn to play. Another friend took her talent that one step further convincing her to assist in the studio with some backing vocals. The natural progression from this new found life was to write sing and play her own songs.
Songwriting, as with most artists, came from emotion and life events.

Serena has penned many original songs and is fast becoming known on the Central Coast for her enthusiasam and ability. Her influences come from Jewel, Alanis Morriset, Mia Dyson and Martha Wainright.

Working toward another recording, Serena is grateful for the never ending support she receives from her musical friends.

Serena is currently running the Sunday Jam Sessions at Shelly's Beach Bar at Long Jetty where she also gives other local aspiring musos the chance to strut their stuff.
