Whats On Logo image The band’s beginnings go back to 2003 when foundation members Phil Hopson -drums and Michael Rochfort - guitar met through the Weekend Warriors program in Sydney. The line-up also includes Dave Bleasedale on guitar and Rob Escott on vocals, guitar and harmonica and Greg Young on bass and vocals.

The sound is hard driven with an edge that pub rock was built on from the early days of AC/DC and Rose Tattoo. The band plays “Supercharged Rock for Grownups” from the 50’s,60’s and 70’s. Punters can expect to hear covers of songs from Chuck Berry, The Stones, The Angels and Chisel.

Weekend Warriors is a program designed to get non-active musicians back into making music. Weekend Warriors targets adults who for one reason or another have stopped playing music and now have the time to “get back into it” and have some serious fun along the way as well as make new contacts. The program is now national with a NSW Warriors Association currently being formed and regular jam nights held as well.
