From its first settlement back in 1823 to now Gosford has been the founding centre of the Central Coast.

Gosford's sister cities are Edogawa City in Japan and Nitra in Czechoslovakia.

The Gosford Regional Gallery or The Japanese gardens as they are fondly known are a serene place to stop on your way home from a Gosford Shopping Spree.

The Park Plaza is an easy stroll from any parking place around the CBD.
