Second Hand Saturday Image SECOND HAND SATURDAY:
Join the biggest day of garage sales the Central Coast has seen!

Gosford City Council is once again encouraging residents to get involved with Second Hand Saturday – the biggest day of garage sales the Central Coast has seen.

Buyers and sellers are wanted! Residents can register (for free) on Council's website where their sale will be listed on Council's website.

Due to popularity, Second Hand Saturday will occur on the second Saturday of each month. Registered sales will only be available for viewing on Council's website.

Second Hand Saturday encourages Gosford City residents to hold a garage sale to sell, swap or give away their pre-loved goods.

Reusing and recycling goods within the local community is an easy way to minimise our impact on the environment. Not only does it decrease goods going into landfill, but it also reduces the resources needed to produce and transport new products such as water, energy and raw materials.

Council offers free promotion for participating households in the week leading up to the event.

Second Hand Saturday is open to residents of the Gosford City Council LGA.

Residents are encouraged to register using the online booking form located on council’s website

For further information please contact council's waste unit on 4325 8879 during business hours or email waste@gosford.nsw.gov.au

Christmas Fair Image THE CHRISTMAS FAIR:
The Central Coast’s favourite Christmas event returns in December

Its time again!
Applications are now open for the annual Christmas Fair.

We have decided this year to move the event, as Avoca is just too small an area to handle an event this size.

We are moving to Mt Penang at Kariong, as there is plenty of parking, no retailer/shops to deal with and more space in general. Its also easier for shoppers to access from Sydney and Newcastle as its just off the freeway.

We will have all our regular Christmas things happening like:
Live music
Christmas trees for sale

Stay tuned for updates as this exciting event, now in its 8th year, returns to the Central Coast and to its new home.
