 OUT OF THE BLUE MUSIC:
Out of the Blue evolved from casual playing sessions, when acoustic guitars, songbooks and voices came together at parties just for the fun of playing music. They thought others would also enjoy what they played so they decided to get a band together, select some well known music and begin performing.
In early 2007, they began rehearsing acoustically around a dining table, but soon electrified their music, a necessity for gigs. They now have a professional setup for performing, though still keeping a relaxed acoustic feel. Over the past year, Out of the Blue have played at a few parties and have been very well received by party-goers.
Their latest member, Mark, assists the band as sound engineer, roadie, promoter/manager and mate and, best of all, a terrific motivator for the group as a whole.
Out of the Blue members have many hours of live music experience from previous bands and each draw on their own unique talents, coming together to perform music they enjoy and know others will enjoy too.
There are no pre-recorded or computerized backing tracks, just four muso’s performing with two guitars, some light percussion and up to four voices in harmony.
